I started knitting a beautiful Susan Ashcroft pattern with my new Blue Faced Leicester handspun yesterday. I’ve been looking for a suitable pattern this last week- something Outlander-ish perhaps, or at any rate suitable for being whisked away for a horseback ride through the heather – and I think I’ve found it in Susan’s Big Waffle Scarf on Ravelry.
It’s in a boomerang style, and is really quick and easy to knit. And the yarn has turned out sooooo soft it’s gorgeous to knit with. I think the square like pattern of alternating knit and purl will come out better when it’s blocked- my tweedy yarn makes it more difficult to see it- but I’m very happy so far! :)
What have you got on your needles at the moment?
Happy Knitting!
