I just love watching Outlander at the moment, the time travelling series currently set in the Scottish Highlands during the years before the battle of Culloden. The rugged scenery pulls at my longing for autumn knits and tweedy woolens, and brings back memories both of living in northern Scotland and of heather on the hills around where I grew up.
This is a small teaser of a sock pattern I’m working on at the moment- I was dying to finish the first sock yesterday and see how it turned out, but it was late, I got knitting needle hypnosis and started falling asleep. Not helpful for following my scribbled down instructions to myself!
This morning I finally got it finished :) It fits perfectly and now I just need to knit one more before I start on the pattern and grading!
